Water Institute, UVCE, Bengaluru University (BUB) is committed to advancing scientific, technological, and policy-driven solutions for the sustainable management of water, energy, environment, health, and waste through the principles of circularity. Our mission is to integrate water and waste management with resource recovery practices within the broader framework of sustainable development.
We strive to establish a global platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, enabling the exchange of innovative ideas, research insights, and technological advancements. Through these efforts, the Institute contributes directly to the achievement of key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — including Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
